Engine: VQ30DE, VQ35DE

Engine

- There are few typical problems with VQ Engine. During inspection, you can find out when the intake manifold gaskets were last changed - over the years they harden, shrink, and air “from the street” begins to leak into the manifold. Of course, with dust and dirt, which is bad.

- Another problem with VQ engines is the idle speed controller. If you do not preventively change the throttle valve gasket, a little antifreeze leaks into the body, which is enough to cause a short circuit in the idle motor. The saddest thing is that an expensive engine control unit can shorten the chain. Automatic, manual, transmission

- The automatic transmission here is Jatco RE4F04A, also known as JF403E.
