Nissan CR10DE – CR12DE – CR14DE engine repair manual. This is a Nissan-sourced engine, available in 1.0 L (997 cc), 1.2 L (1,240 cc) or 1.4 L (1,386 cc) engines. The engine has 4 in-line cylinders, 16 valves and a variable valve timing system. The CR engine is driven by a timing chain that drives a double overhead camshaft (DOHC). These small engines have power outputs of 48 kW (1.0 L), 48–59 kW (1.2 L), 65 kW (1.4 L). For all these models, the firing order is as follows: 1-3-4-2.
This is a Nissan Micra K12 CR engine repair manual. The manual contains all the information, diagnostic procedures and engine mechanics. Also detailed images of its mechanical components.

The mechanical manuals of the Nissan group show all the data on adjustment and repair of engines belonging to this group. In some cases, the manual provides diagnostic assistance using a troubleshooting chart.
This diagnostic table is compiled based on the symptoms that can be found in a car engine. The Troubleshooting Chart walks an auto mechanic through the inspection process of each stepper motor system, providing the data and specifications that must be followed to resolve a motor's mechanical problem.
The engine turned out to be simple and reliable, which corresponds to the main purpose of its creation - for installation on budget car models.
The cylinder block and cylinder head are made of aluminum alloy. In addition to reducing the overall weight of the unit, this solution contributed to ensuring a high degree of heat transfer for the motor as a whole.
There are two camshafts on the block head. There are 16 valves inside the cylinder head.
There are no hydraulic compensators in the engine, which creates some inconvenience when adjusting the thermal clearances of the valves. The operation is carried out by selecting the thickness of the pusher heads (but this is already a “headache” for car service mechanics).
The timing belt has a chain drive. The manufacturer claims the chain's service life is 200-220 thousand km, but in reality after a run of 150-160 thousand km it begins to stretch.
The crankshaft is made of steel, forged, and is located on five supports.
The piston is standard, with three rings, of which two are compression and one is oil scraper. Piston height 32.3 mm.
The intake manifold is made of plastic. A special feature of the intake system is that it is equipped with a phase regulator, which is located only at the intake.
Fuel system - injector. Gasoline injection distributed. To improve environmental standards, an EGR valve is built in.
