1. Increased oil consumption

Signs: Frequent need to top up oil, blue smoke from the exhaust pipe.

Cause: Worn piston rings or valve seals, which leads to oil leaks into the combustion chamber.

Solution: Check the oil level regularly and, if necessary, carry out major repairs, replacing worn parts.

2. Timing chain problems

Signs: Noise or cracking in the area of the timing chain, loss of power, detonation.

Cause: Stretched timing chain or worn chain tensioner.

3. Ignition coil failures
