The Nissan QR25DE engine is a 2488cc 4-cylinder engine driven by a timing chain drive. Your order of starting this engine; 1-3-4-2. The QR25DE engine produces 121 kW (162 hp). This engine features cast steel connecting rods, a steel timing chain, counter-rotating balance shafts and an aluminum intake manifold. Unlike the QR25DE models released from 2007 onwards which include upgrade options such as; Larger diameter and simpler intake manifold, Balancing system, Strengthened camshaft and connecting rods, improved mounting, improved power and increased rpm.

This engine produces 177 hp as standard, but on our cars (Teana, Murano, X-Trail) the engine is throttled to ~170 hp, you can flash it, knock out the catalyst and get about 10 hp on top. , but this is so banal. It would be more original to make a cold air intake, install camshafts from the Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, there is the same QR25DE, but with slightly more evil shafts, they will allow the engine to spin up to 7000 rpm (instead of 6100 in stock ), together with them we will install a direct-flow exhaust with a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold. These dances will allow you to increase the output to ~190 hp. and get a motor with a more sporty character. If you remove the balance shafts, you can remove about 10 more hp.
