Center marks are located on each part of the body to determine the center of the vehicle. When restoring parts damaged as a result of a collision that could disrupt the geometry of the car (elements, pillars, etc.), more accurate and efficient repairs are possible only when using these marks with a specification of body dimensions.

All dimensions shown in the illustrations are actual (not projection).

 

When using a body measuring tool, adjust both indicators to the same length. Make sure there are no extraneous play in the device.

  • When using a tape measure, make sure that it is not stretched, twisted or kinked.
  • Measurements should be taken from the center of the mounting holes.
  • Values marked with an “*” indicate that they correspond to measurements taken from the other side of the vehicle using symmetrical marks.
  • The coordinates of the measuring marks are given in the standard measurement system along the ″X″, ″Y″ and ″Z″ axes.
  • The “Z” axis is an imaginary baseline (200 mm below the baseline (“0Z” in the drawing)).
  • Center of the car.
  • Center of the front axle.
  • Imaginary main line.
